Golden Riemannian geometry is a relatively new kind of geometry introduced in [\textit{M. C. Crâşmăreanu} and \textit{C.-E. Hreţcanu}, Chaos Solitons Fractals 38, 1229--1238 (2008)]. A golden structure in a Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\) is an \((1,1)\)-tensor field \(P\), such that \(P^2=P+I\) (cf. classical golden ratio \(\phi\) as solution of \(\phi ^2=\phi+1\)). If \(P\) satisfies \(g(P X, Y ) = g(X, P Y )\), then \((M, g, P )\) is called a golden Riemannian manifold. It is known that a golden space form may not be an Einstein manifold. In the present paper, it is shown that the condition to be Einstein for a golden space form is equivalent to being weakly Einstein. The CR submanifolds of a golden space form with semi-flat normal connection are studied and an inequality is obtained. An inequality involving the scalar curvature of CR submanifold of a golden space form is obtained and the authors study the existence of extrinsic spheres in golden space forms.
