Let \(G\) be an abelian locally compact group and \(A\) a Banach algebra. For the algebra of Bochner integrable functions, \(L^1(G,A)\), an interesting question is to identify the topological centre of its bidual (i.e., when an algebra is considered as a subalgebra of its bidual, under the canonical embedding, identify the set of vectors where both the Arens products coincide). In Theorem~8, the author shows that the topological centre is an \(L^1(G)\) module. Let \(A^{\sim}\) be the standard unitization of \(A\). Theorem~9 here then identifies the topolological centre of \(L^1(G,A^{\sim})^{\ast\ast}\) as the \(\ell^1\)-direct sum algebra of the topological centres of \(L^1(G,A)^{\ast\ast}\) and \(L^1(G)\).
