    In the paper under reviewing the authors study the tent property of the grow indicator functions of real algebraic groups and applications. Let \(\Gamma\) be a Zariski dense discrete subgroup of a connected semisimple real algebraic group \(G\) of rank \(k=\mathrm{rank}\; G\), as the main result of the paper under reviewing, the author proved that: -- the grow indicator function \(\psi_\Gamma(v): \mathfrak a \subset \mathrm{Lie}\; G \to \mathbb R \cup -\infty\), satisfies the estimation \(\psi_\Gamma(v)\leq T_\Gamma(v) :=\min_{1\leq i \leq k} \delta_{\alpha_i} \alpha_i(v),\) by the tent function \(T_\Gamma\) (Definition 1.1, Theorem 1.2), where \(\Delta= \{\alpha_1, \dots, \alpha_k\}\) is the set of simple roots of \((\mathfrak g, \mathfrak a)\); -- When the discrete subgroup \(\Gamma\) is Zariski dense \(\Delta\)-Anosov, the inequality is strictly, \(\psi_\Gamma(v) < \frac{1}{k} \sum_{1\leq i\leq k} \delta_{\alpha_i}\alpha_i(v), \forall v \ne 0, k \geq 2\) (Theorem 1.4); -- And when the discrete subgroup \(\Gamma\) is a convex cocompact subgroup in \(\prod_{i=1}^k \mathrm{SO}(n_i, 1)\) or a Hitchin subgroup of \(\mathrm{PSL}(d,\mathbb R)\), for \(v = \mathrm{diag}(t_1, \dots,t_d)\) in the positive cone \(\mathfrak a^+\), \(\psi_\Gamma(v) \leq \min_{1\leq i \leq d-1} (t_i - t_{i+1})\) (Corollary 1.10)
