Almost multiplicative maps with respect to almost associative operations on Banach algebras (Q6185275)

The article deals with Ulam type stability for a nonassociative version of the multiplicativity equation. More specifically it is shown that, for certain Banach algebras, any operator \(T\) satisfying the multiplicativity equation \(T(xy)=\Psi(T(x),T(y))\) can be approximated with prescribed accuracy by an operator for which the obvious obstacle of nonassociativity of \(\Psi\) is actually the only one for multiplicativity equation to hold.
