The authors give bounds on the number of points on a given lattice that are incident with or near a convex curve in terms of length, curvature, and affine arc length. For example, they give results on the number of points on a circular arc that are incident with a lattice and use these results to also get results on the case of lattice points on an arc of an ellipse as well. In two cases, they show that their results are close to being sharp.
