    In this note, the authors consider the higher-order fractional Laplacian \((-\Delta)^s\) with \(s>1\) and show that: \begin{enumerate} \item[1.] For \(s\in (1,\frac{3}{2}),\) the polarization inequality is reversed. \item[2.] The Pólya-Szego inequality fails for \(s>1\); in particular, it is not reversed. \item[3.] On a two-ball domain with nonlocal Dirichlet boundary conditions, the first eigenvalue is simple and the first eigenfunction is symmetric and positive for \(s\in (2k,2k+1)\) with \(k\in \mathbb N\). On the other hand, the first eigenfunction is antisymmetric and positive on one ball (and negative on the other) for \(s\in (2k-1,2k)\) with \(k\in \mathbb N\). \item[4.] The Faber-Krahn inequality holds for any \(s>1\). \end{enumerate}
