Given a measure space \((\Omega,\Sigma,\mu)\) one considers maps~\(\xi\) from~\(\Sigma\) to itself that satisfy \(A=_\mu\xi(A)\), and \(\xi(A)=\xi(B)\) whenever \(A=_\mu B\). Such maps are called densities or liftings, depending on further properties that they may satisfy, such as preserving, intersections, unions, complements, \dots The authors define Fubini-like products of densities and liftings on product measure spaces and, in the special case of Lebesgue densities on Euclidean spaces compare these to products of densities from subproducts.
