    The paper under review finishes the classification of finite dimensional, nilpotent Leibniz superalgebras over the field of complex numbers. Recall that a \(\mathbb Z/2\)-graded vector space \(L = L_0 \oplus L_1\) is a Leibniz superalgebra if \(L\) is endowed with a bilinear bracket \([\;, \; ]: L \times L \to L\) satisfying: (i) \([L_i , \, L_j] \subset L_{(i+j)\pmod 2}\), (ii) \([[x, \, y], \, z] = [x, \, [y, \, z]] + (-1)^{ij} [[x, \, z], \, y]\), \(x \in L\), \(y \in L_i\), \(z \in L_j\), \(i, \;j \in \{ 0,\;1\}\). Given \(L\) as above, define the descending central sequence as \[ L^1 = L, \;\;\;L^{k+1} = [L^k , \;L], \;k \geq 1. \] Then \(L\) is called nilpotent if \(L^p = 0\) for some positive integer \(p\). The minimal number \(p\) with this property is called the nilindex of \(L\). For \(x \in L_0\), the operator \(R_x : L \to L\) given by \(R_x(y) = [y, \, x]\) is a nilpotent endomorphism of \(L_i\) for \(i=0\) and \(i=1\). Let \(C_i(x)\) be the descending sequence of the dimensions of the Jordan blocks for the operator \(R_x\). Let \(n\) be the dimension of \(L_0\) and \(m\) the dimension of \(L_1\) (as complex vector spaces). The paper classifies nilpotent Leibniz superalgebras with characteristic sequence sequence \[ (n_1, n_2, \ldots, n_k \mid m_1, m_2, \ldots, m_s) \] with \(n_1 \leq n-2\) and \(m_1 \leq m-1\). Building on previous results of \textit{S. Albeverio, S. A. Ayupov} and \textit{B. A. Omirov} [Commun. Algebra 33, No. 1, 159--172 (2005; Zbl 1065.17001)] and others, this finishes the classification for finite dimensional, nilpotent, complex Leibniz superalgebras. A key lemma of the paper under review is that for such Leibniz superalgebras with \(n_1 \leq n-2\) and \(m_1 \leq m-1\) and both generators lying in \(L_1\), it follows that the nilindex of \(L\) is less than \(n+m\), reducing the classification problem to previously known results, stated in the paper.
