Superzeta functions have been studied by \textit{A. Voros} [Zeta functions over zeros of zeta functions. Berlin: Springer (2010; Zbl 1206.11106)]. More precisely, these superzeta functions consist of three types of sums which come about by summing over the zeros \(\rho\) of the Riemann zeta function \(\zeta(s)\). In all these three cases, the main questions are about the analytic continuation and the analytic properties of the ensuing superzeta functions. In the paper under review, the authors follow the ideas of A. Voros and consider the two first types of superzeta functions of a function field \(K\) of genus \(g\) whose field of constants is the finite field \(\mathbb{F}_q\). In particular, they study special values of those functions and relate them to the Li coefficients in the function field setting \(\lambda_K(n)\) which have been introduced and studied first by \textit{S. Omar} and \textit{S. Bouanani} [Finite Fields Appl. 16, No. 6, 477--485 (2010; Zbl 1222.11138)]. Finally, they prove some results about the regularized product of the zeros of zeta functions on function fields.
