A group \(G\) is right-orderable if can be equipped with a linear order \(\leq\) satisfying to the property \(x \leq y \implies xz \leq yz \;\; \forall x,y,z \in G\). It is clear that a right-orderable group is torsion-free, it is also well known that the class \(\mathscr{D}_{r}\) of all right-orderable groups is a quasivariety. The notion of Levi class was introduced in [\textit{L. C. Kappe}, Arch. Math. 23, 561--572 (1972; Zbl 0252.20030)] under the influence of \textit{F. W. Levi} work [J. Indian Math. Soc., n. Ser. 6, 87--97 (1942; Zbl 0061.02606)] devoted to the study groups with abelian normal closures of elements. Let \(\mathcal{C}\) be a class of groups, a group \(G\) is in the Levy class \(L(\mathcal{C})\) of \(\mathcal{C}\) if and only if \(\langle x \rangle^{G} \in \mathcal{C}\) for every \(x \in G\). If a class \(\mathcal{C}\) is closed under subgroups then \(\mathcal{C} \subseteq L(\mathcal{C})\), in particular \(\mathscr{D}_{r} \subseteq L(\mathscr{D}_{r})\). The Levi class of each quasivariety is a quasivariety (see [\textit{A. I. Budkin}, Sib. Mat. Zh. 40, No. 2, 266--270 (1999; Zbl 0930.20028)]). In the paper under review the author shows that the Levi class of the quasivariety of right-orderable groups strictly includes this quasivariety: \(\mathscr{D}_{r} \subsetneqq L(\mathscr{D}_{r})\).
