Given a complete \(n\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold \((P,g)\) and a smooth function \(f\), the weighted manifold \(P_{f}\) associated to \(P\) and \(f\) is the triple \((P, g, d\mu=e^{-f}dP)\), where \(dP\) denotes the standard volume element of \(P\). \textit{D. Bakry} and \textit{M. Émery}, [Lect. Notes Math. 1123, 177--206 (1985; Zbl 0561.60080)] introduced the Bakry-Émery-Ricci tensor \(\mathrm{Ric}_f\) of a weighted manifold \(P_{f}\) as being the following extension of the standard Ricci tensor \(\mathrm{Ric}\) of \(P\): \[ \mathrm{Ric}_f = \mathrm{Ric} + \mathrm{Hess}(f) \ . \] The authors investigate the uniqueness and nonexistence of complete spacelike translating solitons of the mean curvature flow in a Lorentzian product space \(\mathbb{R}\times P_f\) whose Riemannian base \(P_f\) is supposed to be complete and with nonnegative Bakry-Émery-Ricci tensor.
