G. Bouchitté and I. Fragala have developed a variational theory to deal with eliptic PDE posed in low-dimensional structures. In the case where the ambience space is \(\mathbb{R}^3\), these structures consist in the union of a finite number of compact manifolds of dimensions 1 and/or 2. For this purpose they introduce a suitable definition of tangent and normal derivatives. The present paper is devoted to the existence and uniqueness of solution for parabolic equations in this framework using the semigroup theory. Some regularity results are also obtained.
