Consider a standard triangle with vertices, \(V_1=(0,h)~,V_2=(h,0),~V_3 = (0,0)\), \(h>0\),let \(\Gamma_1,~\Gamma_2\) be two straight sides, parallel to the axis and \(\Gamma_3\) be given by a function \(f\) and its inverse \(g\), both taking the value \(h\) at \(0\), lying below \(h\) in \([0,h]\). See the monograph [\textit{G. E. Andrews} et al., Special functions. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (1999; Zbl 0920.33001)]. In this paper the authors consider new univariate Lupas type operators on such triangles. For a real-valued function \(F\) on this traingle, the definitions rely on the reference [\textit{P. Blaga} and \textit{G. Coman}, Rev. Anal. Numér. Théor. Approx. 38, No. 1, 11--23 (2009; Zbl 1212.41066)], in cluding for figures. When \(f\) is also real-valued,Theorem 2.1 describes the range of this operator, for example, it is identity on \(\Gamma_2 \cup \Gamma_3\). The proof is by induction. Theorems 2.2 and 2.3 give some estimates of error bounds under some additional conditions.
