Global existence for the multi-dimensional compressible viscoelastic flows (Q619884)

The authors study the Cauchy problem for the multi-dimensional compressible viscoelastic flows. By establishing some uniform estimates for a linear hyperbolic-parabolic system with convection terms, the authors show the global existence in some critical Besov spaces with initial data close to an equilibrium state in a Besov space. Further, the authors obtain important estimates on the smoothing effect on the velocity, the \(L^1\) decay of the density and deformation gradient.
