A Minkowski plane is a two-dimensional normed linear space. This paper defines and studies reflections in strictly convex Minkowski planes. If \(\ell\) is a line, the left-reflection in the line \(\ell\) is a transformation \(\rho\) of the plane which fixes pointwise \(\ell\) such that the midpoint of \([p\rho(p)]\) is in \(\ell\), and that \((p\rho(p))\) is ``Birkhoff orthogonal'' to \(\ell\), meaning that \(\| p-\rho(p)\|\leq \| p-\rho(p)+y \|\), for all vectors \(y\) in \(\ell\). The authors study products of reflections (for example, the product of reflections in parallel lines is a translation). They also prove that, if every such reflection is an isometry, then the plane is actually Euclidean. They also study glide reflections, which are defined as the product of a left-reflection and a translation parallel to its axe.
