\textit{K.-T.~Sturm} [Contemp. Math. 338, 357--390 (2003; Zbl 1040.60002)] introduced a natural definition of a mean value of \(n\) points in a uniquely geodesic metric spaces and proved the law of large numbers for CAT(0)-space-valued random variables. The purpose of the present paper is to use the concentration of measure phenomenon to find the tail estimates for means of independent, identically distributed random variables with values in \(\mathbb{R}\)-trees and Hadamard manifolds.
