The authors provide a short new proof of the Hölder-Poincaré duality theorem for Lebesgue measurable differential forms on a complete oriented Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\) of dimension \(n\). The theorem states that, for any number \(1<p<\infty\), the reduced \(L^p\)-cohomology group in dimension \(k\) of \(M\) is isometric to the dual of the reduced \(L^{p'}\)-cohomology group in dimension \(n-k\) of \(M\), where \(p'=p/(p-1)\) is the conjugate number of \(p\). The first proof of the theorem was given in 1986 by \textit{V. M. Gol'dshtein, V. I. Kuz'minov} and \textit{I. A. Shvedov} [Sib. Math. J. 27, 35--44 (1986); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 27, No.~1, 45--56 (1986; Zbl 0654.46040)].
