The present paper investigates the preservation of exponential stability under perturbations for linear systems with a distributed delay. The most general setting is considered: systems with concentrated delays can be perturbed by adding similar or integral terms, or delays can be perturbed. The authors obtain sufficient conditions under which exponential stability is preserved under perturbations.
