    The hyperbolic Ricci flow has been introduced in [\textit{D.-X. Kong} and \textit{K. Liu}, J. Math. Phys. 48, No.~10, 103508 (2007; Zbl 1152.81515)]. In this paper the author studies this flow on Kähler manifolds, especially on Calabi-Yau manifolds. He shows that, in this case, it reduces to a scalar equation and proves short time existence for the Cauchy problem under the hypothesis that the initial velocity of the evolving metric leaves the Kähler class fixed (see Theorem 1.1). He also computes the evolution equations for the various curvatures (see Theorem 1.2).
