Let \((M_\psi, \|\cdot \|_\psi)\) be the Banach ideal of compact operators in the algebra \(B(H)\) of all bounded operators on the complex separable Hilbert space \(H\) defined by \[ M_\psi= \bigg\{T:H \to H\text{ compact such that }\|T \|_{\psi}=\sup\frac{1}{\psi (n)}\sum_{k=0}^n\mu_{k}(T)< \infty\bigg\}, \] where \(\psi\) is a concave function on \(R\) such that \(\lim_{t \to \infty}\psi (t)= \infty\) and \(\lim_{t \to 0}\psi (t)=0\), and \(\{\mu_{k}(T)\}\) are the singular values of \(T\). The main result of this paper is that the extension of every fully symmetric functional \(\phi\) in \(M_{\psi}(N)^{*}\) to \(M_{\psi}\) coincides with Dixmier trace \(\text{Tr}_{\omega}\). \(M_{\psi}(N)\) is the space of all sequences \(x=\{x_{k}\}\) such that \(\| x \|_{M_{\psi}}=\sup_{n}\frac{1}{\psi(n)}\sum_{k=1}^n x_{k}^{\ast}<\infty\), where \(x^{\ast}\) denotes the decreasing rearrangement of the sequence \((|x_{k}|)_{k=1}^n\).
