The paper deals with the regularity theory of harmonic maps from an \(n\)-dimensional Riemannian polyhedral complex to a non-positively curved metric space. The first result obtained here concerns Hölder continuity of harmonic maps, by generalizing the result of [\textit{J. Eells} and \textit{B. Fuglede}, Harmonic maps between Riemannian polyhedra. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2001; Zbl 0979.31001)] for Lipschitz metrics. The proof of the Hölder continuity is different than the one given by Eells and Fuglede and it is mostly in the spirit of the regularity results of \textit{M. Gromov} and \textit{R. Schoen} [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 76, 165--246 (1992; Zbl 0896.58024)]. The main theorem of the paper shows that harmonic maps are Lipschitz continuous away from the codimension-2 skeleton \(X^{(n-2)}\) of \(X\). Moreover, if \(x\) is a point on the \(k\)-skeleton \((k\leq n-2)\), the authors give an explicit dependence of the Hölder exponent at a point near \(x\) on the combinatorial and geometric information of the link of \(x\) in \(X\) and the link of the \(k\)-dimensional skeleton in \(X\) at \(x\).
