Noetherian Hopf algebra domains of Gelfand-Kirillov dimension two. (Q626708)

Suppose that \(k\) is an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero and a Hopf algebra \(H\) is an integral domain with Gelfand-Kirillov dimension two. Assume also that \(\text{Ext}^1_H(k,k)\neq 0\), where \(k\) is considered as trivial left \(H\)-module. It is shown that \(H\) as an algebra is an iterated skew polynomial extension of \(k\) with two variables. There is given the explicit form of these extensions up to algebra isomorphism. The list of these algebras contains 5 groups of algebras, in particular group rings of infinite cyclic by infinite cyclic groups, universal enveloping algebras of two-dimensional Lie algebras. Note that pointed Hopf algebra domains of finite Gelfand-Kirillov dimension with some additional assumptions were classified by \textit{N. Andruskiewitsch} and \textit{H.-J. Schneider} [J.
