Some results on the continuous dependence of the fixed points for Kirk-type iterative processes in Banach space (Q627001)

Let \(E\) be a normed linear space, \(Y\) a topological space and \(S:E\times Y\rightarrow E\) a continuous mapping satisfying a contraction condition of the form \[ \left\|S(x,\lambda)-S(y,\lambda)\right\|\leq \varphi\left(\left\|x-S(x,\lambda)\right\|\right)+a\left\|x-y\right\| \quad\text{for all }x,y\in E,\;\lambda \in Y, \] where \(a\in[0,1)\) is a constant and \(\varphi:[0,+\infty)\rightarrow [0,+\infty)\) is a monotone increasing function with \(\varphi(0)=0\). In the paper, the continuous dependence of the fixed points of such mappings is studied.
