The authors study the standard heat equation in a \(n\)-dimensional bounded domain, supplied with a dynamical boundary condition. The existence, uniqueness and regularity are shown in the framework of the \(L^2\) Sobolev spaces. The proofs rely on the the study, in details, of the resolvent problem with eigenvalue-dependent boundary condition. Finally the authors also studied the limit behavior of the solution when the boundary dissipation vanishes.
