An approach to omni-Lie algebroids using quasi-derivations (Q628809)

This paper introduces and studies omni-Loday algebroids. Let us recall that the concept of omni-Lie algebra was introduced by A. Weinstein in order to generalize the notion of Lie algebra. In this work, the authors perform this generalization by introducing the omni-Loday algebroids. To achieve this purpose, they first redefine a Lie algebroid in an algebraic framework. Then they construct quasi Loday algebroids in such a way that both Lie algebroids, omni-Lie algebras and omni-Loday algebroids are particular substructures. The link between this construction and a recent definition of omni-Lie algebroids (based on the notion of Courant structures and studied by Z. Chen and Z. J. Liu) is also discussed.
