The authors study a wavelets analogue of the classical Ginzburg-Landau energy. In this version, the \(H^1\) seminorm is replaced by the Besov seminorm defined via an arbitrary regular wavelet. This modified Ginzburg-Landau functional introduced in this paper although wavelet based, inherits intrinsic properties of energies associated with diffuse interface models. The authors prove the convergence of the Wavelet Ginzburg-Landau energy to a weighted TV seminorm evaluated at characteristic functions of sets with finite perimeter. The main result is contained in Theorem 1.1. As a consequence - in all dimension - the classical surface tension model is recovered. After proving the main \(\Gamma\)-convergence result they establish the general form of the limiting functional and express it as a function of the wavelet defining the \(B\) seminorm. The limiting functional is anisotropic and matches the role of the surface tension in the Wulff problem. Numerical simulations confirm that the wavelet modified Ginzurg-Landau minimizers converge to the minimizers of the respective Wulff problem computed as the convex envelope of the energy graph in polar coordinates.
