Problem 14.82 of The Kourovka notebook [\textit{V. D. Mazurov} and \textit{E. I. Khukhro} (eds.), 14th ed. Russian Academy of Sciences, Siberian division, Institute of Mathematics, Novosibirsk (1999; Zbl 0943.20003)] states: Find all finite simple groups whose every element is a product of two involutions. In the paper under review the authors produce a list of such groups, hence solving the mentioned problem completely.
