Majorization and relative concavity (Q630550)

Some results established by \textit{H.-N. Shi} [``Refinement and generalization of a class of inequalities for symmetric functions'', Math. Practice Theory 29 (4), 81--84 (1999)] are extended from the classical majorization preordering to group-induced cone orderings. To this end the notion of relative concavity introduced by \textit{C. P. Niculescu} and \textit{F. Popovici} [JIPAM, J. Inequal. Pure Appl. Math. 7, No.~1, Paper No.~27, 6 p., electronic only (2006; Zbl 1182.26024)] is used. In addition, some Ky Fan's inequalities are discussed.
