    The authors consider the nonlinear Dirichlet problem \[ \begin{gathered} \Delta u(x)+ q(|x|)|u(x)|^{\delta-1} u(x)+ p(|x|)|u(x)|^{\gamma-1} u(x)= 0,\quad x\in\Omega,\\ u(x)= 0,\qquad x\in\partial\Omega,\end{gathered}\tag{1} \] where \(\Omega\) is the unit ball in \(\mathbb{R}^N\) with \(N\geq 3\) and \(p,q:[0,1]\to \mathbb{R}\) are \(C^1\)-functions; \(0<\gamma<1<\delta\). Under some assumptions with respect to \(p,q\), the authors prove that there exist \(j_0\in \mathbb{N}\) and \(L> 0\) such that, for every \(n\geq j_0\), there exist two radial solutions \(z_n\) and \(w_n\) of problem (1), satisfying \(0< z_n(|x|)< L\) and \(-L< w_n(|x|)< 0\) for \(0<|x|<1\).
