    Let \(\mathbb B_n\) be the unit ball in \(\mathbb C^n\) and let \(\mathbb S_n\) be the unit sphere with normalized surface measure \(\sigma\). A bounded holomorphic function \(f:\mathbb B_n\rightarrow\mathbb C\) is called inner if \[ \lim_{r\to1^-}|f(r\zeta)|=1 \] for \(\sigma\)-almost all points \(\zeta\in\mathbb S_n\). If \(\alpha>-1\) and \(p>0\) then the weighted Bergman space \(A^p_{\alpha}\) is the set of all holomorphic functions \(f:\mathbb B_n\rightarrow\mathbb C\) with \[ \int_{\mathbb B_n}|f(z)|^p(1-|z|^2)^{\alpha}\,d\nu(z)<\infty, \] where \(\nu\) denote the Lebesgue measure normalized on \(\mathbb B^n\). A holomorphic function \(f:\mathbb B_n\rightarrow\mathbb C\) belongs to \(B^p\), \(0<p<1\), if \[ \int_{\mathbb B_n}|f(z)|(1-|z|^2)^{n/p-n-1}\,d\nu(z)<\infty. \] If \(p>0\) then \(H^p\) denotes the Hady space on the ball, i.e. the space of all holomorphic functions \(f\) with \[ \sup_{0<p<1}\left(\int_{\mathbb S_n}|f(r\zeta)|^p\,d\sigma(\zeta)\right)^{1/p}<\infty. \] Moreover, for holomorphic function \(f:\mathbb B_n\rightarrow\mathbb C\) we define its radial derivative, \(Rf\), as \[ Rf(z):=\frac{d}{dt}f(tz)=\sum_{j=1}^nz_j\frac{\partial f}{\partial z_j}. \] In the paper the following theorems are proved. Let \(f:\mathbb B_n\rightarrow\mathbb C\) be an inner function. Then (a) if \(0<\alpha<1\) then \(Rf\in B^{n/(n+\alpha)}\) iff \(Rf\in A^2_{\alpha}\); (b) if \(n>1\) and \(Rf\in B^{2n/(2n+1)}\) (or \(Rf\in A^2_{1/2}\)) then \(f\) is constant; (c) if \(1<p<2\) then \(Rf\in A^p_0\) iff \(Rf\in B^{n/(n+2-p)}\); (d) if \(n=1\) and \(f'\in A^{3/2}_0\) then \(f\) is a Blaschke product; (e) if \(n>1\) and \(Rf\in A^{3/2}_0\) then \(f\) is constant; (f) if \(n>1\) and \(Rf\in H^{1/2}\) then \(f\) is constant.
