The paper deals with the laminar flow in a horizontal channel. It concerns the fluid whose viscosity depends exponentially on the pressure and temperature. A perturbative approximation is proposed for the viscous dissipation term in the equation for the balance of energy. It is shown that this nonlinear term representing the frictional heating may lead to non-unique solutions.
