A zero-dimensional topological space \(X\) is \(h\)-homogeneous if every nonempty clopen subset \(U \subseteq X\) is homeomorphic to \(X\). A zero-dimensional metric space \(X\) is called \(\sigma\)-homogeneous if it is a countable union of \(h\)-homogeneous subspaces that are closed in \(X\). The main result of this paper is that every Borel subset of the Cantor space is a \(\sigma\)-homogeneous space. As a corollary, one gets that every Borel set \(X \subseteq \mathbb{R}^n\) (for \(n \in \mathbb{N}\)) can be partitioned into countably many (zero-dimensional) \(h\)-homogeneous subspaces that are \(G_\delta\) in \(X\).
