Steiner vector bundles on \({\mathbb P}^n\) are vector bundles \(E\) which have resolutions of the shape \[ 0 \to mO(-1) \to (m+n+r)O \to E \to 0 \] (here \(mO(\ell)\) stands for \(O^m(\ell)\)). Schwarzenberger sheaves are certain Steiner sheaves of rank \(n\) on \({\mathbb P}^n\), associated to rational normal curves. Logarithmic vector bundles are defined by \textit{P. Deligne} [Publ. Math., Inst. Hautes Étud. Sci. 40, 5--57 (1971; Zbl 0219.14007)]. In the particular case considered here they are extensions of the shape \[ 0 \to \Omega _{{\mathbb P}^n} \to \Omega _{{\mathbb P}^n}(\log(D)) \to \bigoplus O_{H_i} \to 0, \] where \(D= \bigcup H_i\) is a union of hyperplanes in linear general position. If \(Z\) is the set of points corresponding in the dual projective space to the set of given hyperplanes, one denotes by \(E(Z)\) this vector bundle. The generalized logarithmic bundles are defined as extensions \[ 0 \to (S^{r+1}\Omega _{{\mathbb P}^n})(r) \to E_{r+1}(Z) \to \bigoplus O_{H_i} \to 0, \] where the corresponding points \(Z\) are in \((r+1)\)-general position. The generalized Schwarzenberger vector bundles \(E(X,L)\) are defined starting from a degree \(n+r\) non degenerated curve \(X\) in \({\mathbb P}^{n\vee}\) and a line bundle \(L\) on it with \(H^1(L(-1))=0\), as certain Steiner bundles of rank = deg(\(X\)). The main result of this paper is a generalization of a result of \textit{I. Dolgachev} and \textit{M. Kapranov} [Duke Math. J. 71, No. 3, 633--664 (1993; Zbl 0804.14007)]: two generalized logarithmic vector bundle on \({\mathbb P}^2\) are isomorphic iff they are associated to the same set of points or the two sets of points are on the same curve of degree = rank of the bundle and there exists a line bundle on that curve such that they are isomorphic to the corresponding generalized Schwarzenberger bundle.
