Let Q be a space of non-atomic games, and let \(\Phi\) be a value on Q [cf. \textit{R. J. Aumann} and \textit{L. S. Shapley}, ``Values of non-atomic games'' (1974; Zbl 0311.90084)]. The following property is discussed: Let \(\mu_ 1,...,\mu_ n\) be n non-atomic measures, and f a real-valued function defined on the range of \((\mu_ 1,...,\mu_ n)\). If \(v=f\circ (\mu_ 1,...,\nu m_ n)\) belongs to Q, then there exist real numbers \(a_ 1,...,a_ n\) such that \(\Phi v=\sum^{n}_{i=1}a_ i\mu_ i.\) The authors construct a number of examples, each one consisting of a space of games Q together with an appropriate value \(\Phi\) on it, such that the property is violated. In economic models this means, that the value allocations are not necessarily generated by prices.
