The authors consider a stochastic predator-prey system described by the following two stochastic differential equations \[ \begin{aligned} dx(t) &= [\alpha x(t)-\beta x(t)y(t)-\mu x^2(t)]\,dt+ \sigma x^2(t)\,dw(t),\\ dy(t) &= [-\gamma y(t)+\delta x(t)\,y(t)-\nu y^2(t)]\,dt+ \rho y^2(t)\,dw(t),\end{aligned} \] where \(x(t)\) and \(y(t)\) represent the quantities of the prey and the predator populations, respectively; \(\alpha\), \(\beta\), \(\mu\), \(\sigma\), \(\gamma\), \(\delta\), \(\nu\) and \(\rho\) are positive constants; \(w(t)\) is a standard Wiener process. The authors study the asymptotic behavior of the system above by considering the convergence of the probability density of the solution. They prove that the probability densities either converges in \(L^1\) to an invariant density or converges weakly to a singular measure on the boundary. The obtained results are illustrated by two numerical examples.
