This article proposes some new estimates of the Green kernel and the heat kernel on symmetric spaces. The author discusses the relationship of his results with previous work and explains in which situations his results improve known estimates. The proof uses volume estimates of the orbits \(KB(x,1)\) and some finite-speed propagation argument.
