The paper discusses the ergodicity of invariant measures for the three-dimensional stochastic Ginzburg-Landau equation with degenerate noise. The article starts with some preliminaries on invariant measures and asymptotically strong Feller property. The main results of the paper are existence and uniqueness of a strong solution with \(H^1\)-initial data and the existence of an invariant measure for the Feller semigroup associated with the semigroup generated by the equation. The proof for the existence and uniqueness theorem is based on some higher order momentum estimates of the solutions, the existence of martingale solutions, a pathway uniqueness result and a theorem of Yamada-Watanabe. At the end, some remarks on the ergodicity of the 2D stochastic Ginzburg-Landau equation driven by degenerate noise are given.
