The authors consider a class of doubly degenerate parabolic equations with a singular weight. They prove a regularity result by using recent techniques introduced by DiBenedetto, Gianazza and Vespri and extended by Fornaro, Sosio and Surnachev. More precisely, they are able to prove Harnack estimates and Hölder continuity of nonnegative weak solutions by using measure theoretical arguments and by following the classical De Giorgi's and Moser's approach based on energy estimates, expansion of positivity and estimates from below and from above.
