Let \(V\) be an \(n\)-dimensional real vector space equipped with a lattice \(\Lambda\). The box spline \(B(X)\) associated to a multiset \(X=[a_1,\ldots,a_N] \subset \Lambda\) is a distribution on \(V\). The authors derive a formula for the difference between semidiscrete convolution \(B(X) *_{d} f\) and the (continuous) convolution \(B(X)*_{c} f\) that involves multiple Bernoulli polynomials.
