Hyers-Ulam stability of a first order partial differential equation (Q641556)

The authors prove that the existence of a global prime integral leads under appropriate conditions to the Hyers-Ulam stability of a linear partial differential equation. This is a very interesting new result. The reader is referred to the paper of \textit{A. Prástaro} and \textit{Th. M. Rassias} [Nonlinear Funct. Anal. Appl. 8, No. 2, 259--278 (2003; Zbl 1096.39028)], where Hyers-Ulam stability was studied for the first time for a partial differential equation.
