\(H\)-measures, as originally introduced by Luc Tartar and (independently) Patrick Gérard, are well suited for hyperbolic problems. In this paper, the authors introduce the \(H\)-distributions which are an extension of \(H\)-measures in the \(L^p\) framework. As applications, the authors obtain an \(L^p\) version of the localization principle and reprove the Murat \(L^p - L^{p'}\) variant of the div-curl lemma.
