\noindent Let \(\mathcal S\) be the category of schemes over a base scheme \(B\) and \(E^{*}: {\mathcal S}^{op}\rightarrow {\mathbf{Ab}}\) a cohomology theory. The theory \(E^{*}\) satisfies rigidity if for every irreducible scheme \({\chi} : X \rightarrow B \) and any two sections \({\sigma}_{1}\) and \({\sigma}_{2} : B\rightarrow X\) the induced homomorphisms \({\sigma}_{1}^{*}, {\sigma}_{2}^{*} : E^{*}(X)\rightarrow E^{*}(B) \) are equal. In algebraic topology the corresponding statement for spaces is a consequence of homotopy invariance of a cohomology theory whereas in algebraic geometry \({\mathbb A}^{1}\)-invariance does not imply rigidity (cf. [C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 347, No. 23-24, 1403--1407 (2009; Zbl 1187.19004)]). The author together \textit{J. Hornbostel} (cf. [Math. Z. 255, No. 2, 437--449 (2007; Zbl 1190.14010)]) showed the rigidity for every cohomology theory represented by a \(T\)-spectrum and satisfying normalization condition. This gives the orientable case. In the current paper the author shows that for a \(T\)-spectrum representable cohomology theory on smooth separated schemes of finite type (algebraic varieties) over nonreal fields the normalization condition holds.
