One class of equations solvable in radicals (Q646855)

For any natural number \(n\) the authors calculate the minimal polynomial of \(\mathrm{tan}\frac{\pi}{n}\) over \(\mathbb Q\), by a recursive formula. Further they prove that the Galois group of \(\mathbb Q(\mathrm{tan}\frac{\pi}{n})/\mathbb Q\) is isomorphic either to \((\mathbb Z/n\mathbb Z)^\times\) or to a subgroup of index \(2\) of \((\mathbb Z/n\mathbb Z)^\times\).
