The paper is a specification of the groupoidification program of Baez and Dolan. The author uses the Kapranov-Voevodsky definition of a two vectorspace: 2-vectors are \(k\)-tuples of vector spaces, direct sum is addition and tensor product is multiplication. From the author's abstract: ``The paper describes a relationship between essentially finite groupoids and two-vector spaces. In particular, we show how to construct two-vector spaces of \textbf{Vect}-\textit{valued presheaves} on such groupoids. We define two-linear maps corresponding to functors between groupoids in both a covariant and contravariant way, which are ambidextrous adjoints. This is used to construct a representation---a weak functor---from Span(\textbf{FinGpd}) (the bicategory of essentially finite groupoids and spans of groupoids) into \textit{2Vect}. In this paper we prove this and give the construction in detail.''
