This note gives a brief description of \(p\)-moduli of curve families, which is a useful tool in the study of analysis in the setting of metric measure spaces. The notion of a \(p\)-modulus is used to define Newtonian spaces, which are analogous to Sobolev-type spaces in the metric measure space setting.
