The paper constitutes the third and last part of previous work [\textit{J. J. Slawianowski}, et al. ``Quasiclassical and quantum systems of angular momentum. I. Group algebras as a framework for quantum-mechanical models with symmetries'', J. Geom. Symmetry Phys. 21, 61--94 (2011; Zbl 1238.81133), ``Quasiclassical and quantum systems of angular momentum. Part II. Quantum Mechanics on Lie groups and methods of group algebras'', J. Geom. Symmetry Phys. 22, 67--94 (2011; Zbl 1239.81048)]. Here, the authors focus on the physically relevant cases of \(SU(2)\) and \(SO(3)\), to which the formalism developed previously is applied. After reviewing the main properties and irreducible unitary representations of these groups, the quasiclassical limit is studied. The noteworthy fact about this is the variation of the limit transition considered: instead of taking the usual limit of the normalized Planck constant, the low quantum numbers on the \(SU(2)\)-group algebra are eliminated. This limit with respect to angular momenta leads to a Poisson system on the Lie coalgebra of \(SU(2)\). This allows to further derive, depending on the model under consideration, types of Hamiltonians possessing higher order multipole magnetic moments.
