A remark on Einstein warped products (Q650131)

In the present paper the author proves triviality results for Einstein warped products with noncompact bases extending a previous result obtained by \textit{D. S. Kim} and \textit{Y. H. Kim} in [``Compact Einstein warped product spaces with nonpositive scalar curvature'', Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 131, No. 8, 2573--2576 (2003; Zbl 1029.53027)]. For the proof he uses the link between Einstein warped product metrics and the quasi-Einstein metrics recently introduced by \textit{J. Case, Y.-J. Shu} and \textit{G. Wei} in the paper [``Rigidity of quasi-Einstein metrics'', Differ. Geom. Appl. 29, No. 1, 93--100 (2011; Zbl 1215.53033)]. In particular he applies methods from stochastic analysis and \(L^p\)-Liouville-type theorems.
