The paper concerns the discontinuity formation for the Boltzmann equation in bounded non-convex spatial domains. The author proves that discontinuities start at the non-convex part of the grazing boundary and then propagate inside the domain only along the forward characteristics before they hit the boundary again. No new singularities are created because of the non-linearity of the Boltzmann equation. In-flow, diffusive and bounce-back boundary conditions are considered. Estimates of the discontinuity decay are given. Regarding the collision operator, hard potentials with angular cut-off are considered.
