This paper is mainly concerned with topological conjugacies of affine-linear control systems in \({\mathbb R}^d\) of the form \[ \dot x = A_0 x+ a_0+ \sum_{i=1}^m u_i(t)[A_i x+a_i],\; u=(u_1,\ldots,u_m)\in{\mathcal U}, \] where \(A_i\) are \(d\times d\) invertible real matrices, \(a_i\in{\mathbb R}^d\) and \({\mathcal U}=\{u\in L_\infty({\mathbb R},{\mathbb R}^m),u(t)\in U\subseteq{\mathbb R}^m\forall t\in{\mathbb R}\}\). Such systems are often called inhomogeneous bilinear control systems. In fact, the authors provide a classification of such control systems based on a previous work for homogeneous bilinear control systems [\textit{V. Ayala}, \textit{F. Colonius} and \textit{W. Kliemann}, J. Dyn. Control Syst. 13, No. 3, 337--362 (2007; Zbl 1129.37008)]. In some sense, this paper generalizes the well-known fact that, in case of hyperbolicity, two linear autonomous differential equations are topologically conjugate if and only if the dimension of the stable spaces coincide.
