This nice monograph is devoted to introduce some of the main topics in the theory of regularity for second order partial differential equations. Firstly, the basic facts of the theory of the linear Laplacian is introduced as a starting point to deal with fully nonlinear equations of elliptic type. Two relevant problems such as the obstacle problem and the dead core problem are exposed in a smooth and self-contained manner. The book is clear and well organized, combining well-established results with original contributions made by the authors.
